Delete my account

You can delete your Klapday account and its data at any time.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to contact@klapday.com from any address and give us your first name, the name of one of your groups and, if you still have it, your recovery code. We delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile: first name, date of birth, picture.
• All your clips and their files on our servers.
• Your shared films and their links.
• Your reactions, your written replies, your activity record, your memberships, the reports you sent and your block list.

Films and clips already saved on phones, or exported outside Klapday, are not under our control.

What is kept

• Moderation decisions, without your content, for 12 months.
• Content that the law requires us to preserve and report to the authorities, for as long as that procedure requires.

Deleting only some data

You can delete a single clip or a shared film from the app without deleting your account.
